  • That last one must've been made by Caterpillar. I love this thread. Thanks again to Jurassic for starting it.

                  • They are New Era's made in Dayton, Ohio in the early teens. There are still a few around, can anyone make out anything in the window behind?

Looks like "KODAKS" Maybe they sold cameras as well.

                      • Try as I might I can't see KODAKS. The glare on the window makes it tough but we've got a race poster that you can go and see 10 races for a quarter. At the bottom of the window I believe I can make out the tail-end of motorcycles. I can't quite see the start of the letters because the bikes are overlapped. We've got us a bicycle and I'm not sure what the black contraptions hanging on the wall are. I can't make out the banner or the other two posters but if this is a motorcycle shop, they are strategically located as it looks like loans are available next door.........

                          • Don't those posters behind the New Era's say "Ladies Day" and isn't there at least 3 firearms leaning against the shop wall on the right.

                            • Tommo.....I took a closer look and I think your right about the Ladies Day posters. I believe your also right as well on the firearm theory. I can't quite figure out the shorter objects that are beside them though. Whaddya figure Scott?

                              • The shop appears to be a Sporting Goods dealer as along with the rifles there is a display of work-out equipment as well as the bicycle in the foreground. And the KODAKS on the window appears fairly prominent. The small posters do seem to say Ladies Day Tommo.
