      Yes Clark, she's a rider too. Kinda reminds me of Valerie Bertinelli a little. I know I know, who's looking at the motorcycles~Haha. But gander at the old leathered geezer standing next to what appears to be a...Custom Series 'A' HRD?

              It does look like it is some sort of HRD/Vincent sumthin or another. And those old duffers were probably admiring it just like the George Jones Corvette song said, "Long and lean, every young man's dream", "Built and fun to handle" etc., but if they had any sense, they'd have been checking out the features of that beautiful that gal (Gloria, now that I know her name)!

                So... is she still around? I didn't mean to write her off prematurely. I just estimated her age at the time that Indian photo may have been taken (mid/late '40s?), did the math and figured she would have been around the same age as my (late) Mom (and that's disturbing in more that one way).

                  • I think that I saw recently that she just had her 100th if I remember correctly. I met her a few years ago at an event she attends. She signed her book for me and I got a picture with her.
