Who, and what is the story on this great photo? Looks like a '56 BT and the rider is probably a 'State Fair' stunt rider. I assume he intended to be dragged like that, and had some way of getting himself back in the saddle. . . Big cajónes, if he didn't lose them.Originally posted by JoJo357 View Post

Ya Man, that's one cRaZy Picture! Sorry Eric & Paul, I couldn't tell you guys where or when, because there was zero information. I kinda remember seeing a picture many M()()Ns ago, with members of the 'Boozefighters' *(BFMC)(license plate) performing this stunt at one of their rallies? Anyway, look at the bar brace on the left rear side. I imagine there was one on the right rear also, so he could slither back and...'DRAG RACE'~Hahaha. The custom rear wheel stand probably was hooked into to that brace also. Either way, it took some family jewels to do this!!!

Bob McClean 1923-2008 US Marine Corps WWII, AMCA Prez for 18 years retiring in 2003.
Bob with Black Hawk motor
1972 Bob & Erwin "Smitty" Smith almost drove to San Francisco to bid on an original paint Black Hawk motorcycle.
It sold for $700 !
They also bid & bought a Cyclone motorcycle in Mt Vernon Iowa & later found out the sellers were only 1/2 owners.
They had the bike but the heads were in California & they ended up selling their share to the family that owned the heads.
I think they paid 10G & sold their 1/2 for 40G.
I recently found reference to a Cyclone racing in Anamosa Iowa, Memorial Day 1923.
The rider was Waln Willingford [Williford ?] from Davenport IA.
Pic of Bob with motor, 2 pics of a postcard that I bid on with Black Hawk in front of Indian dealership in San Francisco.
Possibly the same Black Hawk that Bob & Smitty were after in 1972.
The postcard sold for $325 quite a few years ago.
Pic of Mike Wolfe's photo of Cyclone...maybe he got it in Davenport ?
[ 2 Black Hawk Club women found 2 Black Hawk motors in the old part of the Rock Island dump ! ]
5 or 6 Black Hawk motors are known to exist & about 12 Cyclone motors,11 twins 1 single
