    Even if you fabricated a custom manifold to accept a bronze Linkert, it would interfere with your knee.

    You could install a 1966 Linkert DC7 Model and manifold, but it would be hard to justify the effort and expense.

                This carburetor doesn't feel like it matches my 74ci panhead

                  Your heads appear to not be OEM Panheads, Freeman,..

                  The intake ports and valves may be much more like a Shovelhead.

                  But that does not mean your Zenith Bendix carburetor is a poor choice, if all is in order. It should perform stronger than a Panhead.

                  Does the motor balk and run poorly?

                      I can't figure out the details of the engine. This is the label of the engine at that time. This carburetor starts easily, but at high speeds it doesn't feel like it has enough fuel

                          Your V-TWINⒸ label only describes the replica motor cases, Freeman...

                          It tells us nothing of the internal components, nor the heads themselves. A hand covers the exhaust port in your photo of the motor, but I suspect it is Shovelhead design as well.
                          (They are not accurate "replicas", but modernized hybrids between Panheads and Shovelhead designs.)

                          Still, it should run strong if all things are in order.

                          So let us first apply a diagnostic test to be certain there are no vacuum leaks that might mimic a fuel-starved condition: http://virtualindian.org/11techleaktest.html.
                          Testing while installing your manifold will prevent over-tightening of the clamps; Please avoid any clamps with larger than a #10 screw fastener.

                          If zero bubbles are produced at a constant, regulated 15psi (1 atmosphere) of pressure, we can move on to other possibilities.

                              I'm really not familiar with modern carbs, Paul,...

                              But I know that is not a Super E in Freeman's photos.

                              It is a Bendix that might need a new accelerator pump and boot, but beyond that I know little of them (except for a few rebuild kits in my dead inventory).

                                Freeman do you know the jet sizes in your carb? Based upon what you described, the main jet may be too small for your 93" motor. Also float level may be low, contributing to lean at high rpms.
