Feeling pretty damn victorious right now after getting the valve covers and cylinders off! This engine was definitely "frozen" when I got it so I didn't know what to expect to see in here. Surprisingly it's all intact and the crank spins freely. Next up I'm going to be working on getting the tappets out and will try knucklehead 61's trick for making my own puller

That front conrod looks high, and the front cylinder baffles have been cut for clearance. You may find stroker flywheels inside...

Looking at the pictures showing his complete engine and I don't see any stroker plates.

If you want to be correct on the valve spring covers, keep in mind that the originals were cad plated and not zinc plated.

I have a set of the Colony repros, not yet installed, and comparing them to my originals they certainly look the same. I just need to get them Cad plated.

The threads on the originals are stripped so I needed replacements. Replicant Metals sell them also.

Despite what they say they may be Zinc. You'll see a yellowish, or bluish, tinge if they're zinc. That is a good price. I think I got mine from them. Or it may have been Flatland.
