Unfortunately I haven't done much work on the bike for a while now. I have been having to put a lot of time into school this past month but good news is I have the weekend of the Denton meet off so I will be there! 2 weeks, I can't wait!

Can't wait to meet you! No Larry Medwig and I went back and forth about riding down but he has some stuff he's bringing and the weather has been real crappy around here lately so we will be driving.

        • I love what you're doing with the 45 Ryan and I have enjoyed the text and pictures that you and Matt have posted for us. I think it's a fantastic project and shows that the AMCA can still hit a home run. By the way, with your celebrity status and all; will Paris Hilton be on your arm at Denton?

Thanks a lot, I have been having just as much fun meeting all the people in the club than building the bike. Yeah she will be there...she won't be on my arm though, her hands will be too full carrying cool parts for me!

            • I got back last night from my first amca meet and have to say I'm hooked! Everybody there was really cool and there were a ton of cool bikes and parts to drool over. Not to mention the weather was a huge improvement over the 40 degrees and rain that we had when I left Cleveland. Here are some of the parts I came home with...

I found the first part to my next project...its a see through pan cover, how cool is that!

And I really didn't want to disappoint you guys so I want you to meet Jennifer. She was our waitress at the best rib place I've ever been to.

              • Hat's off to all that are helping Ryan with their time and resources! What a fantastic way to get the younger crowd involved. Ryan, what is the target date for finishing the bike? I hope to see it, if you bring it to Davenport.

So what's the name of the rib place? ... Perry (I'm too old for the waitress but not too old for good ribs (should I ever get to the Denton meet))

The goal is to have it ready for Sturgis the first week of August. I do plan on having it at Davenport.

I'll never be to old for the waitress ribs.

It's the thoughts that count Steve. And plenty of thoughts I still have.

                            • I finally made it over to Bruce Linsday's place this morning to work on the wiring. His place is so cool and only about 30 minutes from my house. Here is what we started with...

Bruce has basically a whole factory setup to make wire harnesses. Here I am running the machine to wrap the wires.

Here I am using a machine that automatically crimps a connector on the end of the wire.

We got everything done pretty quick and now it shouldn't take long at all to get everything wired on the bike in July. While I was there I also got a picture of a Sears that Bruce had similar to the one Matt is building.

                              Thanks again Bruce!

                              • Good to see you back Ryan! Not many guys get the opportunity to weave their own harness - that's pretty cool.
