SV600041.jpgSV600042.jpgThose of you who were fortunate enough to attend the Oley meet this year may have seen this 55FL for sale there. Well I bought it on Friday and here are a couple pics of it after I got it cleaned up. It hadn't been run since 1985 and I got the original title and sales receipt. The tools are still in the toolbox. It took a fresh battery and a new carb float to get it running. It started on the first kick with the ignition on. It runs great! The only items I can find that are not original to the bike are the muffler and headlamp. I also changed out the seat for one that is in a little better shape. Chrome on the rims is a little rusty, otherwise the bike is in great shape for being 56 yers old.

I've had my '62 for 29 years. I got it in '82. It's not original paint but it's mine.
