I would like to warn other bike builders of Geloman's in Spain, I sent him money to build a frame and front end for my 1917 Harley Project about 5 months ago and all I getting is excuses. Here is a link to his sight, Best American Antique Race Motorcycle Parts Selling Website › Geloman. Please be careful when dealing with this guy. I am out 5000 euros and he keeps making excuses why he has not completed my order. Take Care

      Welcome, Curtis.
I'm just going to throw in my 2 cents. I have bought from Christian a few times in the past and yes, it did take a long time but I always received my parts. I was always happy with what I got and never felt like I was being scammed. Hopefully that can give you a little peace of mind.

Christian is a one-time AMCA member from Germany, now living in Spain. He is slow but should get there in the end. Carolina should be able to give you some local leverage.

...we sometimes see other members ask about a particular vendor when things might not seem right (e.g. long waits, poor communication, etc.) without accusing the vendor of fraud. Never personally dealt with Geloman's but I know a person who has and who would echo the reports above of very good quality and worth the wait.

...as are many disappointments, it's all about your expectations

I would agree as well.... I've dealt with Christian many times. Often, but not always, he is slow to deliver, but always does deliver. With that said, I've never bought big items from him, just smaller Excelsior sheet metal parts mostly. They always look great but I've come to accept that every part I get from him needs some tweeking in order to get them to fit right, some more than others. On one occasion, I sent him a very nice original Excelsior generator bracket and belt guard, both 2 piece items. He used them as patterns and I knew a few guys that needed them, including myself. I was very concerned, because he had them for a long time and I was about to write it off as a foolish move and a loss on my part. He did return the originals and made a number of very good reproductions. Be patient, but keep on him.

i have only bought 2 parts from him & they were nice & shipped fast.
however, a friend bought a set of 1916 type forks & they took a very long time to get, like a couple of years, and were complete trash. i held them in my hand personally. they were not worth using.
if you need a 15-24 type HD frame, sean jackson at Competition Distribution makes excellent frames now, as well as new JD cylinders that are in stock.

Thank you for bringing this forward.

I went through something similar with a vendor. Much like you, I was told by many AMCA members who had done business with the vendor that I was the problem, not the vendor.

Later, the truth about the vendor came out:

I never implied that Curtis "was the problem". I was attempting to put his mind at ease by reflecting on the positive dealings I have had with Christian.

As I said in separate post; Christian Henn never cheated me, and to my knowledge, always delivers (eventually Can't blame you for being upset after so many months.
