The business portion of this "fight" could have been resolved long ago.

It has gone "pear shaped" because the buyer and seller are choosing to grind down each other's reputation in public to prove a point.

Neither seems to realize they are just hurting each other and getting further and further from resolving their dispute.

It's been insinuated by the buyer that he's been robbed of 5k. I'm not so sure that claim is accurate. The seller said:

If you want your parts you have to withdraw your negative on eBay.
If you don t you won t get anything.

I take that to mean that the seller will not provide a service or any parts for the buyer. Although it could be interpreted that way, It wasn't stated expicitly that the buyer's money would not be returned. In this circumstance, with the public airing of all this dirty laundry, I doubt the seller would try to keep the money without providing any service. That would be theft, pure and simple.

It's not too late for both parties to wash their hands of this whole mess and move on. Christian refunds the money; Curtis retracts his negative feedback. Nobody wins but at least nobody loses.

Edit: But who's gonna blink first... Trump or the Mullahs... Curtis or Christian? Tense situations all around.

It's obvious Curtis recent joining of the AMCA was two fold. One, to share his build, and then to warn members of a discrepancy, and seek advise. It is unfortunate with childlike bantering, and that's just what it is. But, i'd rather be called a...'Member of the National Socialist German Workers Party, then to be out 5 thousand dollars!!!

I had received an email form Michael Love a few days ago acing as a mediator, and he said he contacted Christian also; I will not say what Michael said to me out of respect for him and this club, and do not know what was said to Christian. I tried reaching out to Christian a few days ago but have gotten no replay. I do hope that members understand that I do not want this to happen to anyone else! All I really know is that after 5 months I have not seen one part from an order I was promised and 5000 euros is a lot of money and fell that this money is gone. Everyone will make their own determination on what happened during this parts deal. I will keep all of you informed if anything else transpires but this still has no positive movement. I have managed to find some parts needed for my build from others I have most of the big parts. If Geloman Spares couldn't meet Curtis's obligation, because of an unfortunate motorcycle mishap, then why does he continue to currently advertise the same frame and the same Item Description From The Seller Attention Guarantee listed at the bottom of the ad??? **You'd figure Geloman would retract his eBaY listing!!!

Maybe some of our fine AMCA members that post dissenting comments shouldn’t stop and go right down the line on the Forum and have a field day, when an AMCA member seeks help or advise in regard to…Should I polarize my Generator, does this part fit what, is this the correct period color, where do I stay in Wauseon, et cetera. Then, respond with…”Who knows or Who cares”?
