  • V twin heads

I have just purchased a set of 1955 to 1962 V twin heads going to install them on my stock 1961 FLH any suggestions if you have tried them and what spark plug works best for them

I've sold a few sets to a local engine builder & he has had great luck with them. As far as plugs, the ignition used is important to what plugs are used.

I've seen quite a few sets out in service. I have not seen any issues with any of them yet.

        I'll add this...

        1) I wish they could be purchased "without" the valve seats machined.
        2) I wish the offered them with OEM Intake valve sizes.

However, I am grateful they offer what they do. It's a nice option for some people.

I think Ebeyond is made to use stock coils & wires so my guess is it works best with non resistor plugs. Most people have a brand that they like. Stating a brand will bring out likes & hates. Cantact Ed & ask him.

I have a set that use shovelhead cylinders and accept shovelhead intake and exhaust. They've only been on less than a year, but, so far so good.

I bought a 1965 panshovel a few years back with an eBeyond installed. I run non-resistor plugs in it and it works just fine. I know some people don't like Champions, but I have been running J12YC with no spark issues. Gapped to 0.028 with suppression wires.

Champion RJ12YC is the resistor version. Make sure your heads are for short reach plugs.
