Can someone assist me with the positioning of the contact roller when in the OFF position? A photo with the switch viewed showing the contact roller would be helpful.

I replaced the contact bar and contact plate in a switch with original NOS parts. The spring appeared more than adequate but I still have a small dead spot when turning on the headlight. Also lubed it sparingly with dielectric grease. Any ideas why?

Rubone, thank You for quick response. My assembly of the switch was as you suggested. After tracing the wiring following the diagrams(many times) I have the following issue's. In off position tail lamp is light, #2 position gen & oil lamp light, tail lamp off, #3 position gen and oil lamp light and horn functions. This is a police model and I'm using a 49-54 wiring diagram(standard Equipped) with new replacement wiring kit.
