1964 FLH Windshield Fitment

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the fitment of a windshield to a 1964 FLH WITH passing lamps.

Are these straight brackets also needed when the bike has the passing lamp brackets installed?

Hello again! I have another question. I got really confused.
Please refer to the attached pictures.

To fit the spotlight bracket on one side you need the two bolts PLUS the spacer on top (please see picture attached from the parts file.

But how do you install the bolt below? Without any spacer? Just the bolt and a lockwasher? Then the bracket will touch the Nacelle.

The 64 I have here has three washers (see picture) which obviously is wrong but I can see that without the spacers/washers the bracket will touch the Nacelle.

Since you do not have turn signals on it the washers are fine, otherwise the signal bracket acts as a spacer on the lower bolt between the nacelle and bracket.

Not planning to use turn signals
So will leave those washers in place
