So -63 had the gasket stapled to the bottom, -64 and later had the gasket in the lid, correct?

My 16k original mile 64 FLH has the seal stapled to lower section.

I have found a lid that needs paint. All the hardware is perfect and correct. Just ordered some birch white from John Pierce.
