Fuel Cutoff/Reserve Tank Rod Question

    How did you get your fuel rod to go through the 1/4" line? Mine is way to tight to squeeze through the rubber.

      Maybe he carves a bit, Craig!

      Fuel lines have fiber reinforcement.
      Neoprene roofing rubbers have a 3/16" bore which stretches easily to the 5/16" rod, and expands nicely to fill the bung.
      (I think I'll stash mine.)

      Not gonna push my vitons, Folks,...
      ..because I'm overloaded when I should be shutting down.

        Thanks Cotton! I know this is an old thread but there is no way my shutoff rod will squeeze through a 1/4" fuel line.
