bullneck and offset
As far as I understand it the bullneck frame was designed together with the offset springer. As well as the 41-45 frame was designed together with a springer fork that has a the rocker hole in the centerline of the fork (if you look at it from the side. For the 36-40 frame the corrensponding fork has the rocker hole in front of the centerline of the fork. This leads me to believe that the actual steering angle is the more or less the same during all the years.
It also seems logical that the number of machines with a bullneck fram and an inline fork is very small, since this doesn't give very good handling. Of course harley liked to used up their parts, but I don't think a bike with a bullneck and an inline fork was a very sellable product when inm the day...
