I started repairing the fins on the head until I realized there were 18 broken fins then went to the Greer catalog.

It’s a roller. I found a NOS set of Allstate tires at Davenport years back and they are a perfect fit.

I had some very similar Arcos on my 47,that amazingly had no cracking after probably 60+years,but the rubber was hard,making for very slippery,unsafe riding.
Old tires may look good but try a panic stop without sliding.

Transmission and primary installed.

If you haven't already,I would remove the case breather plug and ,while you have heads off,put a center punch mark on the flywheel to indicate your full advance setting.
Makes future timing much easier.

Hi Tom, I've done that for years. Great advice though. I put a dot with a white paint marker over the center punch mark to make it more visible.
