Thanks for sharing! I hope to get to do that ride on my 32V in a couple of years. Will be looking forward to your PM of the bike for wear and tear. If you choose to after some down time for yourself.

Ya, the GoPro's aren't very good at recording sound. It's a shame. I don't know if the later versions are better. It would probably be worth upgrading for if they are.

Before I get too busy, I wanted to post these videos of the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier Park. It's a lot of footage, I haven't had time to edit it. I hope you enjoy them.

    Cheers,

Good meeting you too Gene. The new parts worked perfectly. I will post more info in a month or so.

Remember, your bike was pulling a chair and a passenger. I was surprised how well it performed.

Also, I wanted to mention that we raised $200 for Angie through t shirt sales. I wish it were more, but hopefully it will help feed the kids in the short term. Angie gets her first brain surgery on Tuesday, then they have to wait like 6 months for it to heal and do the other side. Prayers.

Thanks Harry. And yes, Kelly Modlin is an animal and a gentleman. If you are ever in Kansas, stop in to his antique motorcycle museum. Twisted Oz.

Thanks all, for keeping the thread alive while I was on the Cannonball. What a great group. I'm proud to be a part of it.

I'm off to pay my penance and do a project for work. It's the price I pay. I might not have much time to post until I get back, but I will keep this thread alive.

Here is a video of the last 3 miles, and the finish.

Looks like #123 has gotten the problems resolved and has been good since the 9/11 when #97 had problems as well.

In regard to Kevin’s trouble on the 11th he worked it out. Here is Brenda’s comments from their blog.

“Here we are in Bourbonnais, Illinois. I am happy to tell you that Patience is once again out on the road where she likes it best! It was a bit long last night as the boys worked until about 1:30 am getting her in running condition for today! It took taking off the new magneto and putting the old one back on with some timing adjustments and she sounds better. Kevin was able to make all the miles today without incident.”
