Al, are your exhaust headers aftermarket? How did they fit and where did you get them? I'm working on a 42 WLA also. I've heard the aftermarket headers don't fit and look for OEM. OEM, seem to be hard to come by.

Yes, aftermarket. I got them from Dennis Corso, they took a little massaging but fit good.

Just got back from the West Coast TROG. Hasn't rained in Pismo for a year and a half but it did last weekend. Washed out Sunday's racing but they managed to get in Saturday. 15,000 diehards stuck it out and had a great time. Sunday was spent bench racing, car show, antique bike show, vintage trailer show, surf music. They Oilers made the best of a soggy situation and I'm thinking next year they will "knock it outa the park". Rick Petko through down the gauntlet saying East Coast kicked some West Coast ass so I'm thinking the racers will up the ante next year. My bike should be done by then. It's only a little modified. Bigger intake valves, bigger intake manifold, 1 1/4" carb. Looking forward to it!

                    How'd your bike run?
