Still have a ways to go but I've got all of the electrical sorted out, exhaust installed, clutch installed (I have since changed to the proper nuts with the groove and no lock tabs). I will be installing the rear brake components and rear wheel and installing the primary chain. From there I'll (hopefully) fire her up

so shes about 90% done. i had to return to work for a couple weeks so getting her runnung will have to wait. I did get her running for about ten seconds with a shot of ether, but died due to fuel starvation (this come to find out was my idiotic blunder, i adjusted the low and high speed needles out 3-4 clicks, not full turns.) The things i still have to finish are the front brakes, rear chain and all the fine tuning of the clutch, carb etc. that will follow her maiden start up.

I saw a full fendered 45" on the road, here in Sarasota yesterday. It looked great and had a perfect profile. It's so rare to see any rigid frame H-D these days and they really stand out when you see one in traffic. Your bike came out beautifully Alan.Eric Smith
