I have a lot more pics and trials and tribulations when it comes to the engine and tranny build as well as the frame. So I got my neck casting and rear axle supports, I have to say I was a little worried about the fit but it turned out they fit perfectly

It wasn't bad at all, it was easily done by hand. Everything lined up perfectly afterwards as well. Not what I was expecting, especially putting my faith in an eastern block casting!

I've made a little headway, I've mocked up the dash and installed the cups in the neck

And I'll be finishing the tranny and starting on the rear wheel rebuild

Finally finished the tranny (that kicker is looking way to inviting) and installed the sideboards with the footboards for fitment. The rear hub is almost complete with spokes and a rim on the way. Fitting up the seat tee also, have to mount the u-bracket and lowered pogo.

I tig welded it. It took some time because I didn't want the frame to get too hot. I initially was going to braze it but the new neck had a little too much space around the top tube. Once it's painted you'd have to look really hard to find the tig welds
