Hey Scott.... thanks for posting that but alas they won't let a Canuck view it... Did you see this in your travels? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1380235/ It's dated 1918 and could be very interesting.

I can't seem to get that one to play for me. I hadn't thought of looking in there for anything else so maybe I can find something.

              Streve McQueen

Yep, Steve McQueen's buddy Bruce Brown, who made Endless Summer and On Any Sunday, changed my life. At 15, I had to have a surfboard and later a motorcycle. If I had all the money I've spent on surfboards and motorcycles since then, I'd be a rich man, But I sure would not had half as much fun!

                Steve's arrival on '42 Chief

Steve said he rode a 1942 Indian Chief to California. Does anyone know the detail of this journey: where did he start out from? I love all these stories, and cannot get enough of this, and savor every report. Thank you to all who have shared! Waiting every moment for next Steve McQeen jewel.

what year was it? How old was he? How long did he own this Chief before and after the ride? Also, would like to hear from Malcom (spelling) Smith on any stories he can add. Can't get enough!!!

                        • There is a story in Finland told by old six days trial guys.

Finnish Six DaysTeam was in East –German Six days trial in 1964 During the competition in the evening they get to eat a dinner in the restaurant where all competitors was eating and when it was time to pay , anyone in the team did not have local currency to pay for the food.
They were wondering what to do when suddenly a man rose from neighbor table and said, that he can pay the bill and so he did.
He was Steve McQueen and the story was told me by one who was in Finnish team there!
