Yep, Steve McQueen's buddy Bruce Brown, who made Endless Summer and On Any Sunday, changed my life. At 15, I had to have a surfboard and later a motorcycle. If I had all the money I've spent on surfboards and motorcycles since then, I'd be a rich man, But I sure would not had half as much fun!

There is a story in Finland told by old six days trial guys.

Finnish Six DaysTeam was in East –German Six days trial in 1964 During the competition in the evening they get to eat a dinner in the restaurant where all competitors was eating and when it was time to pay , anyone in the team did not have local currency to pay for the food.
They were wondering what to do when suddenly a man rose from neighbor table and said, that he can pay the bill and so he did.
He was Steve McQueen and the story was told me by one who was in Finnish team there!
