I got an email from Christian, stating he will honor my order and will send my parts when he gets them, I did ask for a time frame and do not want to drag this on for another 5-6 months. He did say he would not return my money and thought I misinterpreted my side and this and did not appreciate me putting this on this AMCA feed, but I would say this has helped. He also said he is tired of me messaging him to find out what happened to my parts and money, I agree I am tired of this myself. I also offered to pay shipping when he gets the parts. I am not sure if this is positive movement or not. When I get the parts, I will state this, and hopefully this will be sooner than later. I really wish this deal would have turned out better, but I do know that my side is unhappy.

Maybe some of our fine AMCA members that post dissenting comments shouldn’t stop and go right down the line on the Forum and have a field day, when an AMCA member seeks help or advise in regard to…Should I polarize my Generator, does this part fit what, is this the correct period color, where do I stay in Wauseon, et cetera. Then, respond with…”Who knows or Who cares”?

Lee, I hope things work out between Curtis and Christian. I have no dog in the fight, what bothered me is it seemed Curtis only joined the AMCA to voice his problem with a warning which I believe was his first post. You say 'when an AMCA member seeks help or advise', well that's fine. Maybe Curtis's first post could have been 'Has anyone dealt with so and so, instead of be careful of so and so. As you said, we are all entitled to our opinions.

Bobs comment does make sense, this was not why I joined and did not know I could even right about a vender until I read of a warning about scammers. Bob I am building a WWI Harley with a 1915 engine and 1917 transmission and have been gathering parts most from Competition Distributing and eBay and have been looking at the classified adds. and have been able to find most of the parts needed. I understand that I am a new member, but I should not be subjected to my honest money being on hold for half a year and now more with a vender and myself getting into arguments about my order. I am just as much to blame as Christian and will be more careful next time.
