      I disagree with You Eric. I posted this information to the AMCA members to see both sides of the story, so no doubt will be left to the imagination. I feel that it is our obligation to our fellow members to point out certain products, and the individuals that manufacture them, if we discover discrepancies. There are plenty of Warning Notices on this forum throughout the years of shady characters. A recent Fraud Alert was just posted by Mike Love in regard to a non-member trying to scam, and to be aware of him. Please explain the difference Eric. This Geloman's Spares had a written statement that he would refund the buyers money if the frame wasn't completed in 2 months, and now it's 5 months. Then, when Curtis gave a negative review on eBaY, which seems to be the truth, Christian threatens to close the door and not refund his almost 6 thousand dollars, regardless of the agreement guarantee. Christian did this simply because it went worldwide, instead of solving the issue, and not threatening Curtis. What type of person reacts that way when they're clearly a hypocrite? As far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't purchase the time of day from Geloman's Spares!!! And that's one less person who would ever consider buying from Christian, with his unprofessional business attitude & practices!!!!!

      **And Finally,
      Christian Henn *(Geloman's Spares) currently sells a lot of his product on eBaY, and this misfortune could happen to...YOU!!!!!!!!!!

          Thank You Curtis!!! All is not lost, I would continue to try and settle this issue with Christian. You could comply with Henn and retract your truthful negative review and take it from there. Because, you can always repost it if it doesn't work out in your favor. I imagine you probably payed with a check or wire transfer? Then there is a trail of you sending cash for services, and you have a threat from Christian in writing. From past experiences, as far as EbAy is concerned, it doesn't take much for eBaY to investigate false claims. If it could be proven to be a rotten deal, eBaY would ban Christian from ever selling again on eBaY. With this occurring in Spain, legal action can be difficult and costly. But, as a last resort, i would check out your dilemma with a lawyer, and see what they might have in mind to resolve the issue.

            I'd like to just remember that we depend on many of the suppliers in our hobby, and it's not really a growth industry...probably a thinning herd over time, we need them! And many small specialty suppliers don't do this as a sole source of income, no big advertising budgets (or any advertising budget at all) so they depend solely on word of mouth, they're often not in it for the big bucks. So when they get a bad mention on social media they may wonder why they go to all the trouble to make a hard to find part, they may say "to heck with it" and we lose a valuable vendor. And depending on the part, their business model doesn't dictate that they carry an inventory...but they'll make it for you.

            All I'm saying is that before a negative accusation of fraud is spread on social media about someone, just remember that many of these guys are probably doing this part time and life can interfere for them, too. Stay in touch even if they go dark for a while.
