6V Delco Remy Horn - need help

Have an original 6v horn on my 47 FL. Horn doesn't work when power and ground applied to posts. I have continuity between the posts. I opened the horn to look for anything obvious and nothing jumped out at me although Im not very familiar with its operation. The posts are insulated from the housing and test that way.

Any info or ideas on what to look for appreciated. Also, what does the adjustment screw on back do? Is that for adjusting tone?
