Wife and adult kids told him to clean out his junk... now at least he can tell them "I tried to sell it but there were no takers!"

Super nice guy, and finds some super cool stuff! Yes, it's his job, so he's out looking for stuff, while the rest of us are standing around drinking a beer. Nobody says you have to hit the buy-it-now. That's up to you, not him.

I was not impressed when he came up to my stuff at Davenport and started his sob story about needing several parts to restore his dead fathers (he was not dead) bike, trying (lying) to get my sympathy so I would let the parts go cheaper!

You can do all that at the same time? Interesting.

Wait....Bob, how come I didn't get a beer when I stopped to see you? I suffered through having to look at a bunch of high quality parts for HD in your tent...shoulda been worth a beer at least!

I sold an off set fork to a guy who claimed he was building a '48 pan, but was having trouble affording the high cost of parts. I always like to help young guys trying to get into this great hobby. Would you believe I saw my fork on ebay a few weeks later, and he sold it for substantially more than he paid me. . . . Stupid me.
