It's difficult to weed out the intensions of anyone these dayz' Eric. The old camaraderie 'has been' fading fast! Only one consolation for many of us who went through that same scenario many times, is the fact that our intensions were at very least, honest! Keep the faith, those bums eventually get the Reverse Karma shaft!!! Take care, Eric.

Same thing happened to me with an offset. Couple, 3 years ago at Oley. Saw it for sale a year later by someone else at a meet for twice the price. Had the same 1977 NY inspection sticker on it.. LOL. Last time I try to help a young guy out unfortunately. May be the same guy??? LOL.

Not all of the kids these dayz' are shysters. A couple of years ago i had an opportunity to purchase a Hugh pile of DL & RL miscellaneous with complete RL motorcycles and a hack. After a couple of lengthy phone calls as complete strangers, we met up a week and a 1/2 later at a swap meet. He held everything till i made my decision. I made a mistake in not finally purchasing his lot, but he went the distance on that one. Obviously, he continued to take interested parties as a backup, and sold it all in batches. But, ya--the 'Sob Stories/Low Ballers' when the price is already decent, are the one's to tell..."Hit the Road Jack"!!!
