THIS IS AN OLD FLOYD CLYMER REPRINT OR THE 4TH ENTHUSIAST. AS BEFORE THE ENTHUSIAST THERE WAS ANOTHER HARLEY FACTORY PUBLICATION I BELIEVE CALLED THE DEALER NEWS. RAT SCHERK HAD SOME OF THESE AS BOUND VOLUMES AND SOLD THEM BACK TO HARLEY. YEARS AGO A COLLECTOR FRIEND FOUND A STACK OF THESE VERY FIRST ISSUES OF THE ENTHUSIAST IN THEIR ORIGINAL MAILER ENVELOPES AT A GENERAL FLEA MARKET AND BOUGHT THEM ALL FOR PEANUTS!

American Motorcycles Norway
Glad to see this thread is still active, will try to make a few contributions.
This guy posing on his VL is clearly impressing the girls. His nickname was "Kilowatt" as he was an electrical engineer.

Another picture with Mr. Kilowatt

This is a great theory.
If it is true, I am so far behind that I will never die...
