    Small World! Who knew!

Although this isn't an ad I think it will count. I first saw this ticket 30'ish years ago and decided a couple weeks ago to see if the guy still had it. Well he did and he decided to sell it. Ya just never know.

25 cents and the ladies were free. They knew how to do it!

Hey Dave, I was on Fuzzy Fassbemder's pit crew for one season and we raced at Hales Corner every Saturday night. It was 1970/71. He had the Gremlin body on his modified. Only lasted one season. Way to much drinking involved. After the races we stopped at Shakey's Pizza for pizza and beer.

Hartford has a car museum in the old Libby's canning factory. It has quite a few Kissel kars. It's quite a nice museum.

No, I haven't ever seen that. It must have been just before they closed the doors. Ya, 40hp is pretty funny. That typesetter needs better glasses, Thanks

Where the car is parked was the location of Walter & Wittig on Lovers Lane at N. Main St. This is the only ad I ever found for Comet Motorcycles. Lover Lane is now called Union St. In the Wisconsin registrations there were a number of Comet owners in the Hartford area. Where are those bikes now? I tracked down relatives who had no idea their ancestors owned Comet and Indian motorcycles which is pretty typical. Nobody had any photos.

Typical roads for 1910. Imagine what it was like when it rained or snowed. Water tower in the back ground was for the Kissel Motor Car Co.
