1914 Iowa City, Iowa Motorcycle Races.
State Historical Society of Iowa has thousands of glass plate negatives that are possibly going to be destroyed do to defunding of the Iowa City collections. This is one of those negatives.

And brick streets, and tall curbs, Roger. I lived in downtown Orlando, Florida and all the streets (originally) were bricks from Alabama, and Georgia. The days of cheap labor, high quality, but low tech. Thanks to everyone that posts these vintage pictures.Leave a comment:
