      • Picture #1 is of Henderson KJ's, picture #2 is of Henderson Deluxe models. Takes a lot of practice to do these stunts (which could have been applied to fighting crime) but Public Relations is also vital

          • I showed my wife picture #4 with 20 riders (occupants?) on 4 Indians. She wondered how the tires didn't blow out consider how some of the officers looked pretty well fed. A true testament to how stout American motorcycles (and cops) were, albeit slow (by today) but faster than 99% of the cars of that day. In the day, newspapers would do human interest stories about someone that lived to be 100, and they would reveal the secret to longevity was clean living, no smoking, and liquor never touching their lips. The newspapers should have documented stories from the officers that rode motorcycles because they could tell stories that would raise the hair on the back of your head !
