Ouch, why do they use VLs for crashing into those walls? Picture #3018 looks like a 1933 model in the Sunshine Blue and White paint scheme, with the optional cadmium wheel rims and the (optional?) central white panel on the rear mudguard. The lower picture in #3019 looks like a 1931/32 VL with the flat lens Motolamp. I hope he took that and the front mudguard and front stand off before making the run.

Yes, everyone loves those strong I-beam forks on the VL/RL. There was a drilled set on a 1950s drag bike in the Anamosa motorcycle museum.
