Great pictures, Eric, and thank you. Those pics were definitely taken in 'cowboy' country as I see no Indians. I also notice a few bikes with black rims, but as an old timer told me; everyone wanted chrome after WW2.

Interesting (to me anyway) that facial hair is almost non-existent in the old black & white photos. The recent photos over the last few years show a high percentage of gray-beards on many of the same machines!

Glad you enjoyed them Eric. It's always a highlight of my day to drop in on this sight and see what's been posted. You're right that there aren't a lot of Indians in these pictures. I looked through other pictures I have to see if I could spot a few more. They are definitely more prevalent in the pre-war years. Just to balance things out I'll post some below. As always, apologies if any of these have been posted previously.

Good observation, I hadn't really picked up on that. I certainly notice the growing trend towards more facial hair now. Perhaps for the men in these pictures beards were what they remember old men having and they wanted to be different?

They certainly look like crates, although they don't look like they have motorcycles inside. These ones do.
