  • Picture #1670 has Berlin registration plate. Picture 1674 shows the one-year 1933 Harley paint job on the nearest machine.

          • Now that I'm messing with an Indian Scout, I notice things. I've seen the above pic of Ed Kretz, (#1684) many times over the years and never noticed that he is running clincher rims and tires on his race bike. Obviously, clincher tires were a lot better in those days, despite being obsolete.

              Do either of your fella's know where and when the picture was taken?

              • Picture #1683 again shows on the Servicar the one-year 1933 Harley paint scheme, which looks like the Silver and Turquoise combination. Just 182 Servis were built that model year.

                      • The Indian Tri-car in #1677. I have no further information but, see why it was not popular: "The Springfield/Chicopee divorce" .
                        Impressive engineering though.

                          The picture was taken in 1937 at the inaugural Daytona beach race, which (of course) Ed Kretz won.
