    Thanks to everyone. I now have a better perspective of the challenge before me with the bars.
    I do have some help from the machinist who built one of my motors, he's an Indian guy, so that helps my apprehensive concerns.
    The bend is slight, not severe. But I know sometimes looks can be deceiving, but with the guidance and suggestions from you all, I'm better prepared
    for the job. Thank again for all the help. Roger

      We used to call UHMW, 'oompie'. Made miles of conveyor guide rails, dead plates, and escapements with it. I also liberated a lot of UHMW scrap for lavaliers, framistans, and what-nots.
