UPDATE - So I did get a new clutch pack, installed it and the difference is minimal, though I could leave the clutch disengaged now and the petal does not engage in any hurry which is a bit helpful, the front friction discs are barley dragging and it seems ok from that end, I guess the effort to compress all the springs is just the nature of the beast, I realize if I purchased one of the QUA clutches its using a few less springs and might actually be the best solution if this continues to bother me on the force required to disengage the system. so all in all I am happy with the way the clutch works and I have learned to live with the stiffness.
