Rob, Can't help with the bearing exactly, but..... Try the Big Chief forum on Yahoo: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/...torcycles/info
Also, if it is the same narrow bearing as on the drive side, I believe they are available from Randy Walker: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/...torcycles/info
Of course, Kent Thompson in new Hampshire is always a sure bet for early chief parts. He is listed in the AMCA roster, contact me by pm if you can't find his number.

Rob,
Here is the early Scout primary side bearing, not sure if the same, again from Walker:

And the correct link to the drive side bearing, (sorry for the confusion, forgot to proof read) http://walkermachine.com/drivegearba...rrow-10mm.aspx
Have you tried a good bearing supply house? Probably not a particularly odd size, but beware, that is a radial thrust bearing! If you replace it with a non radial thrust bearing, it won't last very long because the helical cut primary drive gears want to push and pull the clutch basket in and out with every twist of the throttle!
