When you tighten the axle nut everything locks up tight.Bearing support to hollow axle to inside bearing race to spacer in your pic to backing plate.

I took everything apart today and the wheel spins freely, then the hollow axle in the brake drum and it spins freely. I put the backing plate on and tight! Pulled it apart and there was the issue the brake pads were rubbing in one area. I sanded the pads where the rubbing was and reassembled it and no more dragging!! That was a simple fix!Comment
