Hi guys,
I just came across a problem assembling the clutch on a '40 Chief, the usual trick of using the primary cover didn't work because the clutch worm of a 40 model is shorter!
Why was it changed on later models? I have ordered a tool from Jerry Greer.
How much should the gap be between the assembled plates (new Greer assembly) and the basket?
All answers gratefully received
Thank you
