    '69FLH rear wheel cyl.

    Good morning
    Threads are gone where banjo bolt goes.Has anyone used RE-COIL or the like to fix?

    That boss is pretty thick. I don't see why you couldn't put a thread insert in it.

      I had one like that. It was neccesary to replce it, becuse it fits the banjo bolt, so it is a weak area.

        I stand down on this one. I was thinking of my 60s which is the straight one and mics at .7425 OD which is a lot of meat. I don't have the later on to look at. Sorry about that. Bob L

        I just went on line to Lucifer's kitchen and looked at that wheel cylinder. There sure looks like there more than enough meat to pull it off. Bob L
