70 FLH Front Brake Switch?

Hi all, My 70 E-Glide has a (broken)front brake switch in the perch, think it was added after? i got the bike all pimped out parade style, lots o'lights

The '70's did have a very small brake light switch on the hand brake lever bracket.

...in the housing, next to the brake cylinder reservoir. It's not too bad to deal with unless the wiring has been run through the bar. Finding a decent switch can be a chore, though.

A 1970 doesn't have disc brakes. It is a mechanical drum brake.

the correct switch is tough to find also. The switch from a 74 disc brake perch can be modified to work by cutting off most of the long plastic tail, but it is visually different.

sometimes I get a narrow view and shoot from the hip...
that little switch hits a nerve every time...I don't know how the early switch looks...

thanks Brian, i ended up with one of those, cutting the plastic divider and heat shrink tube; it works...
