76 FLH Front Banana Caliper problem

If your mechanic replaced the piston when he did the brakes you need to know if it was a correct front type or a rear type. They do not retract the same amount!

I agree with Robbie. The front and rear pistons are a different part number. I'm guessing the new piston is the problem.

Thanks everyone for your advice. My mechanic re-built the master cylinder and put in a new brake line and the calipers were still not retracting well, so we decided to just go with a new caliper. Expensive, but its fixed.
