    67 Shovelhead 4 Speed

Does anyone know if there is a tool made to install a main drive gear shaft seal for 67 4 speed, as you know this is a small seal and difficult to get started straight. ? Or any advise on installing one. As always I appreciate the info.

    Thanks

With the exception of turning down a piece of round stock and making your own. I know of non. Just put a socket on it and have way with it. Bob L

I make seal installers on my lathe out of PVC like Robbie said.I take dimensions & go to hardware store & buy a pipe or usually connector & turn it down. The seal is supposed to be .050" in from face of case,so I make a step to set to right depth

Jims make a tool, #2256-1, but at around $100, you would need to use it almost daily to make it worthwhile.
