  • 1967 Compensator Nut

    Is the compensator nut left or right thread on a 67' FLH? Manual doesn't say. Appreciate the info. as always!

        Okay.. I currently have a 23 tooth compensator sprocket and a 22 tooth transmission sprocket and a stock rear drum brake sprocket .. 51 I think. What would change if I used a 22 tooth compensator sprocket?

          Your acceleration would be quicker, your top speed would be lower. 22 was commonly used for sidecar service, 23 was standard for FL, 24 was for high speed use and FLH.
