First ride with the original coil and wires back in place.
To start with we had one of the spark cable pieces stack in there.
We replaced with a cheap aftermarket one just to start the bike.
The original coil was placed in warm water and with a straw a lot of the stuck cable piece came out
Sprayed brake cleaner and wd40 in the holes. Really cleaned up well.
Dried with a hair dryer and left it for 2 days.
Cleaned the original cables to male the copper visible.
Installed and started the bike (the front spark plug cable with broken piece falls a bit short for proper routing)
Test ridden for 80 miles all is well

This 60 FLH amazes me every time i ride it.
The bike has been sitting 55-60 years BUT when you ride the bike all these years (time) somehow dissapear!
The level of confidence you feel is like riding a new bike…like it was never parked
Good time passes quickly though and it is time to return the bike back to the museum (in about 2-weeks)


What do you think? Should it be locked up again ?

Post up some final museum pictures. Beautiful build. I was in Cypress last year for a brief visit, very nice. I did not visit the occupied Turkish side.
