    Glutton for punishment, Eric?

It's not my only lift, but the one I grabbed most often because it fit under any big twin:

But sometimes you need both wheels off the ground:

I've got one of those bottlejack lifts, but no way it will fit under a rigid without scraping the paint.

I have a lift like the one in your last picture, Tom. I recall buying it because a friend (who was built like Dusty Rhodes) had one, and it seemed easy to use. The last time I used it was on a '40 Chief and it tested my strength, and fortitude. That whole principal of levers moving the world is a good concept, but when you're half way to lifting a Chief and you're second guessing your strength; panic enters the equation. I think the lift in the first picture is a better lift (like F1 lifts), but certainly not portable, and limited in how high it will go. I guess I needed a longer lever.

I could lift full-dressed '65 EGlides on mine, Eric!

But I was younger, of course.

Nowadays, a spotter would be prudent.
