  • Valve seals on 58 FL Duo Glide

    45EC0C02-65BA-4F68-8D3C-B9811E8245E2.jpg Hi All,
I have to decide weather to install valve guide seals on the heads that I am having restored on the 58 Pan head.... they didn’t come with them in 1958 but I am wondering if it’s a good idea to have them 12408C43-C611-413F-9151-58946AC2222A.jpgInstalled now while the heads are on the bench...all new kibble white valves and guides being used...
    Thank you all!

My experience is if it has the stock oil pump don't bother with seals. If you have a S&S or aftermarket aluminum pump install seals as those pumps tend to flood the top end.
