    panhead crankcase

G,day can someone tell me if the crankcase mounting bolt pattern on a panhead would be the same as a vl or wla ? I have a bent frame and 3 of my contacts have asked for the rear wheel to be installed with the tranny and crankcase . The crankcase is a right off broken beyond repair , and missing parts too. I don't have a panhead crank to use for the frame guy , Rob

Same as VL but different than 45". Although the pattern is the same as VL the height if the mounts themselves differ. If you need your left case repaired of replaced contact Phil at http://knuckleworks.com/ph4854.html

UL - knucklehead: same pattern, same height difference fronts/rears
VL - knucklehead/UL: different pattern, same height difference fronts/rears
Panhead/shovelhead - knucklehead: same pattern, different heights (by 3/8")
