Identify brake drum Harley?

    Identify brake drum Harley?

    Ok so the drum on the left in question looks like a mechanical big twin but is quite a bit deeper. Other than that they seem identical. drum.JPGdrum2.JPG

    I'm no expert, but ain't that a juice drum?

      I do not believe so, most hydraulic were cast iron, these are both steel.

        I thought the same as govmule. The deeper drum would have room for the wheel cylinder.

          Early '58 drum for juice brakes is stamped steel. Cast drums started in mid '58 due to drum expansion issues.
