Hi Peter. I had a quick look and could only see 6 messages in there.
It took another 15 minutes to work out that I needed to click another box to see that I had replied to 44 messages.

I use these when checking diameters. Nice to use on the machine and when checking in hand. I also find bearing sizes ranging all over the place.

Nice. The barrel reads 001" and the gauge reads 0001".

Reading your reply makes them sound inaccurate I must admit, but they are meant to be set at any given size by using gage blocks which are in .0001 increments. If I am grinding a diameter I use my standard mic until I get under a .001 then use these to finish, my OD grinder moves in .000025 increments. When checking 1/4" bearings I would set the mic using .2500 gage blocks then read the dial +/- in the .0001 increments. Not trying to sway from your thread, just thought I would share another type of measuring device.

              G,day Bob.
              No inaccuracy intended.
Without facial expressions and tone of voice, there is a phenomenon where text sometimes looses its intended mark.

The word "Nice" is to show my appreciation for your gauges and functionality of the dual readout.
The description " barrel reads 001" and the gauge reads 0001" refers what I like about your gauges.
Appreciate your contributions to the thread.
              Regards Steve
